Mission Statement

The Jacksonville Humane Society provides care, comfort and compassion to animals in need while engaging the hearts, hands and minds of our community to bring about an end to the killing of abandoned and orphaned shelter animals.

Bonnie is a special girl in need of a very special home. Two-years-old, Bonnie has been at JHS since April 2014 when she arrived with a broken pelvis.  Her bones have healed and she moves with ease, but she still needs special attention and diet.  She loves to be petted and scratched behind the ears.  Bonnie is very friendly, and would love to be part of your family.
