Suddenly
Contest Overview The Jacksonville Humane Society wants you to write the copy and take the photo for our next advertisement! As part of our "Suddenly" marketing campaign, we are asking our supporters to create their own ad. Simply take a photo of your pet and write a "Suddenly" tagline to accompany the picture. All taglines should begin with the word Suddenly. The ad should explain how your pet Suddenly changed your life for the better.
Once you create your "Suddenly" ad, you can submit your entry online, by e-mail or by mail. Once your entry has been submitted, encourage your friends and family to vote on your photo ($1 donation per vote). The contest ends December 26, 2010 at noon. The photo and tagline with the most votes will be featured in an upcoming advertisement for JHS. The top three ads will be eligible for additional prizes.

This is an actual Suddenly advertisement printed in Folio Weekly. Past ads were printed in the Aug. 17, Aug. 31 and Sept. 14 issues. Look for upcoming ads in the Sept. 28 and Oct 13 issues!
| How to Enter
The contest deadline for submissions and voting is December 26, 2010 at noon. There are three ways to enter. Once you have submitted your entry, your ad will be posted to the contest Web page within one week.
A. Online: 2. Click the "Get Started" button then select "Suddenly Everything in Life Seems Better Contest", follow the prompts and your page will automatically be created.
3. Change the picture to your "Suddenly" ad and put your tagline in the "My Personal Message" box.
4. Once you are happy with your page, save it. Then you will be ready to e-mail all of your friends, family and co-workers - you can even post your page on your Facebook and Twitter.

How to Win
There are three ways to get the votes you need to win. One vote = $1. The ad that raises the most money for the animals at JHS will be the first place winner. The second and third highest fundraisers will be awarded second and third place respectively.
1. Firstgiving.com Fundraising Page: E-mail the link for your fistgiving.com page to your friends, family and co-workers. They can click the link and donate votes right on your page.
2. Mail: Mail checks (made payable to JHS) to:
