School & Group Presentations
School & Classroom Presentations
The goal of our classroom presentations is to create a culture of empathy, caring, respect and kindness by educating children about proper pet care and responsibilities. Our curriculum is based on age and grade, and can be tailored to fit your educational needs—from Pre-K through High School. All educational visits include a special appearance from “Noodle the dog” for the students to interact with.
The classroom presentations include:
- Noodle’s Back Pack (K thru 3rd grade; 45 minutes-1 hour): Students will learn about pet care and responsibility, bite prevention and precautions around unfamiliar dogs
- Finding the Perfect Match (4th grade; 1 hour): Students will learn about abandoned pets, homeless pet prevention and the adoptions process
- Lesson on Pet Care (5th grade; 1 hour): In this interactive presentation, students will learn about pets' needs and their dependence on humans
- The Jacksonville Humane Society (6th grade through high school; 1 hour): Students will learn about the Jacksonville Humane Society and what they can do to help
