Private Behavior Modification

  • Do you have a companion that is behaviorally challenged?

  • Is your canine friend sensitive to your touch?

  • Willing to bite over his food or toy?

  • Is he extremely fearful of strangers and/or new situations?

If you answered “yes” to any of the questions we can help! We specialize in inhibiting unwanted behaviors and replacing them with good manners. We will provide private one on one training sessions using positive reinforcement as the method to teach your companion the desired behavior.

Using our dog-friendly dog training method you will not only strengthen the bond between you and your dog but you will also build a relationship with your pet based on trust and respect. We like to say, “Cooperation, not domination.” and as a JHS client, you’ll learn to establish appropriate behavior in your pet with reward-based training. We’ll teach you how to communicate your leadership and how to discourage inappropriate behavior.

Many behavior problems can be resolved within a few sessions and you can choose from a variety of days and times to fit into your hectic schedule. You choose what you want your dog to learn so your sessions are focused on your needs.  And, best of all, we can come to you!

The first appointment is normally used to assess the needs, develop a training plan and begin initial training.  Subsequent sessions are scheduled as needed.

Give us a call and let us design a program to fit your needs and lifestyle.
