Pet Memorials
"No one loves you unconditionally as your beloved pet." - Cynthia S. Dobesh

Toddy Boy
I can't believe it has been a year and two days since Todd passed away, he was 13 years old, I had him since I was five. He would sleep in my bed a couple hours, then go off to my parent's bed the rest of the night. He just wanted to be loved so much and be around his family. We found him on the side of the road when he was a puppy, ribs sticking out and dirty as ever, we opened the car door and he jumped in, he always was and always will be my brother. I know he is with God, he is too special not to be, and I intend on seeing him someday. Towards the end, he was very sick, he would not eat or hardly move, we were going to have him put down at the vet, but he hated going to the vet and I prayed his last moments would not be in a place he hated. He died peacefully on his doggy bed with my dad and I in the room, it was the most devastating thing to experience but I am happy he passed away in his own environment surrounded by the ones who love him the most. I miss you and love you baby, it's been a long year without you, but Toddy, I'll see you before you know it. <3 [Posted 4.17.2012]
