COVID-19 Information for Clients:

 

JHS Veterinary Services is still open but providing curbside service only. In an effort to lessen the impact of COVID-19 in our community and help ensure the health and safety of our clients and staff, we ask for your cooperation in following the guidelines below.

Appointment Arrival:
All services are by appointment only. When you arrive, please park as close as possible to the Veterinary Services entrance. A Customer Care Specialist will greet you at the welcome table outside of the Veterinary Services entrance and check you in. You will be asked to provide a mobile phone number at this time. (If our staff do not see you arrive, please call 904-493-4611. You may approach our doors, but please do not enter.)

A technician will pick up your pet outside of our Veterinary Services building and escort them inside. The veterinarian will communicate with you via phone for any specific questions or information about your pet. Once your pet’s visit is complete, a Customer Care Specialist will take payment curbside (cash or credit card) and your pet will be brought out.

If you are dropping off a pet for spay/neuter surgery or a heartworm appointment, you will be given a claim tag with a pick-up time. When picking up your pet, a staff member will meet you at the entrance and your pet will be brought out.

Please wear a face mask or covering to your appointment.

Medication Pickup:
If you made your request via our automated pharmacy line, a staff member will call you to notify you when your prescription has been filled and take payment. Any walk-in requests for medication refills will be asked to wait outside while we process the request.

Please help us with social distancing during this time by maintaining space outside our facility and leaving your vehicle only if prompted by a staff member.
