Facial coverings (masks) and social distancing are required at JHS. Visitors may need to sign-in with each department upon arrival. Customers may be asked to wait in their vehicle until it is appropriate to enter.

To do our part to minimize the spread of COVID-19, JHS is making the following changes to our procedures:

 

We are no longer requiring appointments/reservations! Please follow the directions posted on our front doors to sign-in when you arrive. This will help us monitor the number of people in the building to ensure safety. Assistance is available at the front desk. Facial coverings (masks) and social distancing are required at JHS. IMPORTANT NOTES:

All animals will be spayed/neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated. *Masks required for all events. Please visit jaxhumane.org/adopt to browse our available pets. During adoption specials, additional fees may apply. Learn more about our adoption process on our "How to Adopt" page. 

The Pet Help Center will remain open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday - Friday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday - Sunday, by appointment only.

If you find a lost pet, please exhaust all attempts to find the owners. We have many tips and local resources to help you.

Veterinary Services is open by appointment only. You will receive information prior to your appointment about what to expect before you arrive. Curbside is available by request.

JHS is an independent, local 501c3. Your monetary donation will help us save the lives of nearly 9,000 pets and serve 3,500 families this year.
