Pet Loss Support

Anyone who has experienced the loss of a pet or anticipates such a loss is invited to attend the Jacksonville Humane Society’s Pet Loss Support Group on the fourth Thursday of every month. This group is open to anyone interested in attending and reservations are not required.

There is no cost to attend, however, we welcome donations to help care for the animals at our shelter. If you would like to make a donation in memory of a pet, please click here.

In light of the ongoing situation with COVID-19, our Pet Loss Support Group meetings are suspended until further notice.
