Available Classes:

Basic Dog Manners

This class is for dogs 6 months or older that have not had previous obedience training. Dogs in this class need to be comfortable around other dogs in a group environment without being overly reactive or disruptive. We will train on skills such as loose leash walks, not jumping on people, come when called, and more.

All pets must be spayed/neutered and current on vaccines to attend. JHS Training Classes are non-refundable.

$125, 6 sessions ($110 for pets adopted from JHS*)

Puppy & Small Dog Training

Do you have a new puppy (under 6 months of age) or maybe a small breed adult dog that hasn’t had a prior training class? Get your new puppy and small dog off on the right “paw” learning skills to help you both become an obedient team. We will discuss potty training, mouthy puppies, how to take a treat gently, sit, stay, come, leash walking, and more.

All pets must be spayed/neutered and current on vaccines to attend. JHS Training Classes are non-refundable.

$125, 6 sessions ($110 for pets adopted from JHS*)

Advanced Dog Training & Canine Good Citizen Training

Has your dog completed a puppy or basic class with us or another trainer and now you want to strengthen those skills or add on more challenging skills? Our advanced training will begin to wean your dog off treats, teach him or her to respond to hand signals, heel, stand, stay, settle, and more. Additionally, we will train on the 10 steps to obtaining your dog’s American Kennel Club Canine Good Citizen Certification. You have the option at the end of this 6-week class to test for free on the CGC.

All pets must be spayed/neutered and current on vaccines to attend. JHS Training Classes are non-refundable.

$125, 6 sessions ($110 for pets adopted from JHS*)

One-on-One Dog Training

If your dog is not comfortable in a group training class or maybe you just have one or two obedience skills you want your pup to learn, then sign up for a 1-on-1 class! You can communicate with the trainer so you can create a training plan for these 3 private, 1-hour sessions.

All pets must be spayed/neutered and current on vaccines to attend. JHS Training Classes are non-refundable.

$150, 3 private sessions ($135 for pets adopted from JHS*)
